Specifically, my index finger is stuck in this wine bottle. I think I’m going to have to break it to free myself.

This is like the workd’s shittiest Chinese finger prison because knowing that my wine is trapped means that I can’t relax enough to pull my finger out.

More importantly..is it good wine or bad?

It’s my go to cheap red wine. It’s not the end of the world if I have to break the bottle, but at $12, I’ll still be sad. I’m cheap and alcoholic enough that I’ll have to have a good long think about whether ingesting glass shreds is worth pouring the rest into a glass.

Coffee filter.

It does beg the question, ‘why is your finger is in the neck of the wine bottle?’.
EDITED: Incorrectly said thumb.

I was going in the house, so I picked up my glass and then picked up the bottle with my index finger. It usually works fine with beer bottles, but something went wrong here.

Brilliant.

By the way, that’s the index finger. My thumb is in the glass. I’m the sort of person who gets stuck in a wine bottle, so obviously I’m left handed.

Drill a small hole in the bottle?

Aaah, okay.
Rookie mistake.
I learned years ago to do it this way.
Though I bought one of my colleagues a Guzzle Buddy.

I finally freed myself. I patiently twisted my finger and I eventually got it out. Now I’m thankfully back to drinking.

That. Is. Brilliant.
I am heading to Amazon!

A good bottle of wine is one you like.

Before you head over to Amazon.
I want your help.
What should I have to drink?
Corona and lime, Hop House 13, Budweiser Budvar, Sam Miguel or Jameson?

I see the alcoholic traps are working.

First Corona with lime.
Then Jameson.
Then Hop House.
Then Budvar.
Then San Miguel.
By the time you get to Budvar, everything will taste amazing.

I extend this to scotch and cigars as well. If you find something you really like that also happens to not cost a fortune, then you win.
